Has anyone ever felt like this before? Here’s the breakdown:
- I get stressed out
- Then I say…”just one coffee per day”
- That turns into a coffee with a pastry on some days
- Then that turns into a trip to the coffee house 2, sometimes 3 times a day to get a jolt of caffeine and sugar.
- Now my hormone levels are totally off, my blood sugar is getting spiked and then dropping exponentially causing insulin surges, causing my mood to drop and my body to store fat.
- Then, I wake up the next day lethargic and waiting for the next hit of caffeine and sugar.
Yup…this has been my life for the past few months.
The busier I am getting with my business, the more stress I am handling, the less I exercise, the more I eat.
And that’s my magic combination for weight gain, mood swings, major cravings, and overall lethargy.
And that’s what I’m sitting in right now. Well guess what???
I’M SICK OF IT!!!
I am totally and completely fed up with it all. And with the holiday’s here, I feel the potential for fighting an uphill battle. Here I am running a successful Bootcamp and nutrition business, stressed to the max and doing everything I’m not supposed to do.
So instead of nipping this in the bud and doing it all alone (which never works), I’ve decided that I’m going to do this very out loud. Here’s what I mean:
Number 1
I AM TELLING THE TRUTH, AND I AM TELLING THE TRUTH OUT LOUD! This is key as I see it.
If you ever want to change anything in your life, you have to stand up, tall and proud, and tell the truth about it. And that’s what I’m doing.
Number 2
I am seeking support and accountability.
The next real way to succeed is to surround yourself in a supportive environment and make sure you have accountability. I know this because it’s what I do for my clients all the time. It’s a huge reason why they are so successful. Once someone starts telling the truth about what’s really going on, then they make the full-hearted decision to do something about it, the next most crucial thing to do is be held accountable.
So here I am, fully deciding to get my butt back on track, but I’m doing it in a very different way: I’m going public.
You are going to see my transformation from beginning to end, over the next 4 months. I will be sharing through pictures and videos every single workout that I do. I will also be sharing every single morsel of food that enters my mouth. You will be a part of my journey back to a body that I am comfortable in (lets just say that I tried on my favorite pair of jeans yesterday and I couldn’t even get them up my legs! Now that would have been funny to get on video…)
Why?
- Besides the fact that it will fully and completely hold me accountable, I think if I share my journey with you, you will become inspired and maybe even do it with me.
- I am human! I want this to be an honest reflection of my physical, mental, and emotional strength, of which all wavers from high to low….and I want you to be a witness of that wavering.
- I want to show you what it takes in terms of exercise (less than most people think) and nutrition (more than most people think) in order to get the job done. You’ll see moments of strength and weakness along the path, but in the end all that really matters is that I stay on course and keep moving forward.

Today I stepped on the scale and I have lost twenty pounds! I have not weighed this little for ten years! I am down 16 inches and two pant sizes! I feel amazing. My energy has not been this good in a long time! I am able to handle stress better than ever even though the amount of stress I have is the highest it has ever been. I cannot imagine not sticking with the adjustments; it has simply become a part of my life. -Lindsay
In 3 months, I took off 17 lbs and in a total of 5 months I am down 22 lbs and 14 inches, and continuing to lose. I have dropped 2 pant sizes and a ton of inches, my body has muscle and tone where I have never seen it before. I could not have done any of this without the help of Audra and her team. -Sondra
When I learned about the Be Fit Boot Camps, I knew this was my summer to reshape my body. I carved out a slice of "me time" in the 6am hour and got busy. At the first dunking I weighed 144 lbs and was over 34% body fat. 11 weeks later at the second dunking, I weighed 132 lbs and had lost 8.8% of my body fat. I also put on 3 lbs of muscle during those 11 weeks. -Susan
I have lost over 25 lbs! My life has truly changed. People say this all the time, but I am serious! I will never go back to the poor food choices I was making, or the lack of exercise, and I have changed my lifestyle in the ways I now I was eating, and what I was doing to myself. Boot camp has really been a great new focus in my life. It's just been amazing! -Anna
Finishing up the 12 week fitness challenge with my trainer Audra Baker! I have lost a ton of weight (15 pounds!), and 11 inches off my body, and I feel like a million bucks! Whooohooooo!!!"
-Mat
Something new and different was exactly what I needed. I feel like this new form of exercise was the catalyst to break through my lack of motivation and weight loss plateau. I have added years to my life. I also have an overall sense of well being that I never experienced when I was heavier, as well as much more energy, focus and confidence. -Steve
At boot camp I feel encouraged and motivated. I love the boot camp atmosphere. I have lost 8 lbs and 2 inches on my abs. Even though my weight loss has been relatively small, the energy level and the feeling I get after a good workout cannot be denied. It is awesome. Also, it is amazing how much I have learned about nutrition - how easy it is to eat healthy and truly "feed" your body. Learning about nutrition has been a huge part of my change. -Luis
I was fat, angry and in denial of what I really looked like. I knew I wasn't happy with how I looked but could not get motivated to change it. Going to boot camp was really hard, but I made a decision to stick with it, eat healthier and more often, and really just focus on me. Now I am a new me and I love myself. I was really wrapped in in the taking care of the family and now I know that I can do that and work out too. -Patricia
In seven weeks I've lost 6lbs, and for the first time in a long time, I can see the result. Ifeel accountable for my actions. I think before I eat, drink, or grocery shop. I love having the switch clicked ON in my brain to put my health first. I hold my head up higher and have a confidence about myself. I'm so glad I joined your boot camp and can't wait to continue to see results!!! It's all due to you and your team! Thank you! -Jamie
You go girl…I want to join in your challenge but I will start after the new year. I have decided to work on my other 15 to 20lbs and be done with weight loss and move to maintaining what I have worked so hard at. Very excited about the new year and new challenges. Lets do some more cooking healthy days!
YOU GO, Audra!
You go, girl!
