The ironic thing is that when we feel this level of disgust and frustration with our body, we look for the quickest and (and craziest) fixes…none of which address what’s really going on.
Quick = Fast. Detox. Count calories.
Crazy = Lipo. Gastric Bypass.
The reason you’re not thrilled with your body is because you’re completely disconnected from your body.
And all the ways we try to “fix” our body so we stop feeling fat also have the effect of continuing to disconnect from our body.
Counting calories and starving yourself = complete disconnection from your body. (you’re all up in your head…)
Going under a knife = insane disconnection from your body.
