” I feel much happier and healthier. I have dramatically lowered my cholesterol, blood pressure and almost eliminated my sleep apnea. I have added years to my life. I also have an overall sense of well being that I never experienced when I was heavier as well as much more energy, focus and confidence. Over the course of 12 weeks, I’ve lost 54+ pounds and 20 inches.”

“My life has changed dramatically in 12 short weeks and I’m 16 pounds lighter. I have two young children in sports and now I can join them as a healthy role model. Audra and her team are so positive, motivating, and truly care about each of us. My fellow bootcampers are a blast and I feel connected to them and supportive of their goals”

“After a few weeks at bootcamp, I am where I wanted to be: happy! I have lost 11 pounds, many inches, some of the dreaded cellulite, and really toned up my body. I gained self confidence, energy, and am now a role model for my kids–and I got my sexy back! I no longer dread getting dressed in the morning wondering what I am going to wear that will not feel too tight or show the slight rolls I had. Now I can wear anything in my closet and know I will feel good in it because I feel good about myself in general. I have put exercise back on the list of things to do each day and I know now that I can make the changes and stick to them.”

“This program opened my eyes. It wasn’t about restricting, but about restructuring my choices. I knew if I could figure out my nutrition the pounds just might fall off and the hard work I do exercising might finally show. Audra was completely relatable and that mattered so much to me. I made the simplest adjustments and reaped the rewards. I have been in various programs that focused on tough love and pointed out my flaws. In the simplest ways, Audra taught me to love myself and all my features. Recently I met a man when I was out one night and he asked me, “So what are you about?” I answered, ” Well, I’m awesome.” The confidence I’ve searched for for so long is present and just flowing out of me. I love it!
Audra opened my eyes, and told me it was ok to take care of myself and how focusing on me would be the best thing I could do for myself and my family. Audra changed my life. I stood at the fork in the road and she guided me to the healthier direction, and knocked down the obstacles I always thought were there. I wouldn’t have thought it was possible 8wks ago, but I’m proof. Now I make a conscious decision to put me first every day, to plan my meals, to savor my food and to love myself. I am so grateful for this opportunity. My lifestyle has changed–I do not diet– I eat. I no longer carry guilt with me when I eat or grocery shop. I’m so happy I cry from joy and accomplishments! Thank you so much Audra!”

“I have lost twenty pounds! I have not weighed this little for ten years–since I was 19! I am down 16 inches and two pants sizes! I only have one chin! My body goes with me as I move; it no longer jiggles behind trying to catch up! I feel amazing. My energy has not been this good….well, I am not sure how longs it’s been since I felt this great! I am able handle stress better than ever even though the amount of stress I have is the highest it has ever been. I cannot imagine not sticking with the adjustments; it has simply become a part of my life. While the changes were a little difficult at first and are daunting at times, they certainly are not miserable or unattainable. My fitness future is looking bright!”

“At the end of the program now, I am very happy to have completed this committment to myself. I am proud to have tried something new and to have succeeded. My fitness goal for this year is to jog the entire 5k Turkey Trot race at Thanksgiving without stopping, instead of walking like I have done the past several years. Thanks to the Best Body Challenge, and as I continue training this summer, I will be able to meet my goal and jog right through the finish line!”

Audra Baker runs THE BEST boot camp in the South Bay! (Yes, I have been to many others and I promise you – hers is the best!) I have been working out with Audra for several months, and after 15 years of being almost 90 pounds overweight, I have now lost 68 of those pounds! With Audra’s motivation and expertise, I know I will lose the other 20. I now have muscle, tone, and strength in my body that I have never had before. Audra is a master at knowing how to get the maximum results for your body, and her knowledge of nutrition is extensive. She has more motivation and enthusiasm than anyone else I know.

“This was life changing. There was no dieting, calorie or point counting. Instead, I learned the right foods to eat for my body and never felt deprived. It wasn’t about calorie counting. It’s a long-term, sustainable way to health. Where am I at now?
One day I had a chocolate donut staring me in the face, and I rewarded myself for all my hard work by eating it. I went on a day-long roller coaster ride with my energy dipping and climbing. Long story short, it turned out to be a reinforcement for why I had made all of these positive changes to my health in the first place.”

I started in late April with Audra’s Saturday bootcamp and a couple of semi-private sessions to work on form. I had some modest results and because I was feeling better, I started making better eating choices and imposed portion controls back into my diet. When I learned about the Red Shift
Bootcamp, I knew this was my summer to reshape my body. I carved out a slice of “me time” in the 6 am hour and got busy. At the first dunking (body composition testing) near the first week of June, I weighed 144 and was over 34% (to check actual #s) body fat. At the second dunking on 8/30, I weighed 132 and had lost 8.8% of my body fat. I also put on 3 lbs of muscle during those 11 weeks.

I am a woman in her 40’s who has cared about what I’ve looked like and has been in pretty good shape all my life, except for the past 5 years. My weight starting creeping up rapidly 17 pounds in 3 months and continued to shoot up to 40 pounds over the past 4 to 5 years. My body was not mine. I started not recognizing my reflexion in the mirror. I was simply disgusted! It hit me in December 2008 when my husband received a beautiful photo album of our Thailand trip we had taken with our family that past November. In viewing this 44 page album, there were only a couple pictures with me in them. I saw my grand daughter with everyone but none of her and I. My feelings were hurt and I was upset with myself. I made the choice to erase all pictures with me in them as I could not stand to look at my fat face. I was embarrassed at what I had become, over weight! I was very disappointed and had no one to blame but myself. At this point, I knew I had to make a change. I want the memory of my vacations with my family and grand daughter to be complete with me present.
January 8, 2009 I started my first 6 week boot camp class with Audra. Three weeks later I joined Audra’s nutrition class. In 3 months, I took off 17 lbs and in a total of 5 months I am down 22 lbs and continuing to lose. I have dropped 2 pant sizes and a ton of inches, my body has muscle and tone where I have never seen it before. I have 10 more pounds to get to my goal and am confident I will reach it.
I have taken exercise classes, hired personal trainers and even nutritionist before but never had these results. The difference I have found in Audra’s style vs others, is that she takes a hands on approach and becomes committed to your goals! She meets with you one on one to gather information about you and what your personal goals are then follows through and assist you the entire way to achieve them.
Audra makes you feel like you are the only one she works with even though both courses I took from Audra were groups. I could not have done this without Audra’s assistance. She kept me motivated and on track. When I fell off, she was there to pick me up! Today, I look in the mirror now and can’t believe the transition. If you are looking in that mirror and disgusted like I was, you too can make the change. Come join us! You will love it, I do!

“I am a new me, I love myself (so corny I know) and know that it is okay to focus on me! I was really wrapped up in taking care of the kids and my husband and now I know that I can do that and work out.
I started this journey with incredible back pain, my Dr’s told me I should not be doing any hard work outs that I will have to live with this pain for the rest of my life and there was not a lot I could do about it other than pain relievers. Ha Ha Ha is what I say to those Dr’s, since I started working out I have not had any back pain at all! I am so happy!!!!! I can jump out of bed, touch my toes (never been able to do this in my life) and it feels great.
That was the turning point for me, I knew I wanted to be as fit as possible and teach others how to do it as well. What a great feeling to know that you can help someone achieve a goal!
Life is short, we often take for granted what we have and don’t appreciate those around us. I am so happy that the “fat angry Skyla” is gone. I am working towards the best me, and it’s been a great start so far!” –Skyla, Gilroy
