First off I just want to say WOW!!!!
Thank you to EVERYONE who has put their thinking-cap on and let the creative juices flow while trying to come up with a new name for our boot camp program. This is just awesome!
So far there are a few that I absolutely love! The problem is choosing just one! I’m going to share with you the “top winners” so far, and I would like for YOU to help me decide by leaving your comments below.
Remember, whichever idea gets chosen, the creator gets a FREE MONTH of Boot Camp, so if you don’t like any of the name’s I’ve chosen and you think YOU have the winning name, then make sure to leave you comment and suggestion below!
So here goes…in no particular order:
RECESS! BOOT CAMPS
PRO:
- RECESS! – (and keep the exclamation point) because it’s fun and we do things we used to do as kids while getting in shape – jumping rope, skipping. throwing balls, etc.
- You could do ad campaigns like “It’s time for RECESS! Let’s Play!” and make it fun.
- Recess as in a break from the daily grind of work, school, kids…whatever your stress is. TOTALLY not intimidating.
- Logos could be cute, with like hopscotch’s, and playtime stuff while throwing in that added benefit of fitness and health.
CON:
- It might be too gentle. It still is a boot camp and you still do some serious work in this program.
TRAIN SMART BOOT CAMPS
PRO:
- It’s a saying that Audra uses already and I think it sounds cool! The reason this one rings so true to me is because Training Smart is EXACTLY what Boot Camp is all about.
- Our Program has a scientific approach and is systematically designed to blast your metabolism into hyper-drive! You are Truly TRAINING SMART When you train in our program.
- PLUS…think of “Smart Water”. Is that not like the best marketing ever? You put the word “Smart” in front of water, and people are willing to spend tons of money on what is essentially filtered water and sugar in a cool package. Amazing. I think “smart” is a great word, especially when people are trying to get the most out of their time and training regime.
CON:
- Maybe not catchy enough? We want people to remember the name.
BETTER BODY BOOT CAMPS
PRO:
- I love the way this rolls off the tongue when you say it. (no mistaken cuss words here!)
- And I love what was said…’you just can’t help but get a better body!’
- It’s true!!! Even if you already have a great body…when you train with us… you’ll still get a better body!
CON:
- Unfortunately not original enough…lots of camps already use this name.
- Also, it might be too….girly? (Don’t get me wrong here…I’m trying to reach women, but I don’t want to exclude the men either!)
ReBoot CAMP
PRO:
- This name idea came out of a fun session in Willow Glen. The brainstorming (while stretching) was, “Reboot your Body Boot Camp” We thought this was fun, especially since we’re in Silicon Valley.
- Then we came up with Tag lines, like “Reboot your Drive” and “Reboot your body”…which I LOVE both of these tags. BUT….
CON:
- Have you tried to say it? It’s not easy.
- Also what exactly would it be called? ReBoot Camp? (Not enough) Or ReBoot Boot Camp? (Way too much!) Or Audra’s ReBoot Camp? (Don’t know if I like my name in it)
- I just don’t know how to use this good idea. It seems like it would be good on a shirt, but difficult to say it out loud.

I vote for Train Smart Boot Camps!
My vote, train smart bootcamp… Simple and to the point!!!
LLLOOOOVVVEEEEE…………..
RECESS! BOOT CAMP
You can do a lot with the logo!
Cool clothes! etc……..
I’m in!!!!!!!
My Vote = Better Body Boot Camp
It’s (a) very positive, (b) rolls off the tongue as you said, (c) is really fun to say, and (d) is what everybody wants and states exactly why we all do boot camp (BETTER BODY!!!).
I vote NO to:
RECESS! Boot Camp
Having worked at Yahoo!, an exclamation point is always difficult in a name-no one else will include it. And, boot camp ISN’T recess. We work hard. Fun? Yes! But “RECESS” sounds just too easy. I want to spend my sweat time and money smart (working hard, not going to recess).
Train Smart Boot Camp
Eh, so what? Boring (sorry).
ReBoot Camp
ReBoot has a negative connotation. We reboot our computers and electronic devices when there’s something seriously WRONG (when they crash).
Just my .02 cents. B-D
I like reBoot CAMP with a small r. I think reBoot CAMP is plenty enough for a name on its own.
Optimum Fitness Boot Camp aka the OFBC-think logo
Get optimum results with Optimum Fitness Boot Camp
Ultimate Fitness Boot Camp aka the UFBC-think logo
Getting the utimate workout you need!
Get results with the ultimate workout
You guys are the ultimate! :0)
Too corny?
Here our my Choices in order:
1) Train Smart Boot Camp
2) Better Body Boot Camp
3) Recess! Boot Camp
Train smart bootcamp gets my vote!
Better Body is great sounding. ReBoot is clever.
However, TrainSmart is a great and unique name. Especially considering the change to more intense 45 minute workouts, you really are offering a smarter training session. Makes it sound that you are not wasting time being inefficient or ineffective.
Your new tag line could be, “No burpee, no barfee, no belly.” I’m a genius!!!
Also, I think with the new concept, all burpees should be eliminated.
Love better body boot camp!
Runner up is Recess!
But I can see how it can come off too playful.
Train Smart — I just think it is a great fit for the company. The name is attractive to men and women, and, of course, to everyone who is smart … or who would like to be.
I’m not a fan of any that are written…
I like,
REBOOT, Boot Camp
Reboot your body at our Boot Camp
That’s the name I like and the tag line underneath is important.
The tag line might need to be reworked, but I like the name….
Joe Brown
reBooty boot camp
More seriously:
reBoot camp
reBoot your body …
reBoot your mind …
reBoot your life …
can you think of a way to spin it?
Reboot Bodycamp
the bootcamp for your body
or use the reboot keys cleverly:
‘Ctrl’+'Alt’+'SysRq’+body = a new you
just some ideas to use Reboot- I love that!
ReBoot!!
I vote for Recess and Better Body Boot Camp. I would prefer to stay away from Boot Camp at all in the name because it’s too intimidating for a lot of people but like the “Better Body” part of it.
Train Smart says what I’m looking for in an exercise/bootcamp class.
I’m not looking for a cutsie name, just results that can be achieved in a fun, but challenging class. I don’t know what a good logo would be though. I’m not sure how a brain with a barbell would look on a t-shirt. Maybe after you pick a name you can do another poll to pick the logo. Better Body is my second choice. Not unique, but gets the point across.
1)Train Smart Boot Camp
2)reBoot Boot Camp
I am still in love with reBoot Camp. I couldn’t agree more with what Laura and Victoria said.
reBoot Body Camp
Boot Camp - Insert drive. reBoot life.
Audra’s reBoot Bootcamp
The possibilities are endless here. The geek in me loves this and you’re going to appeal to the vast majority of the Silicon Valley population.
Train Smart is the runner up for me.
It’s nice and androgynous.
Short and to the point.
But not as catchy as reBoot Camp.
Not a fan of Recess. That would probably be better if it was a camp for kids, but not so much for adults. :/
Better Body Bootcamp = meh
too girly
the Better Business Bureau might not be a fan of someone else with a BBB.
P.S. If you don’t use reBoot Camp I’m going to register the name and steal it for future use!!! It is just that awesome!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The post above removed my “insert”s.
There should be a re presented as an insert using html code above for where I added “Insert Drive. reBoot Life.” and this forum does not allow me to go into the html side so it’s just gonna hide it if I try again.
I like train smart!
carol
I vote for Train Smart Bootcamp.
Covers everything you do!
Adventure Boot Camp
Take an adventure to building a better body!
Out of the choices I like the Better Body Bootcamp, but agree that it could be too plan and common. I really like the suggestion of “Optimum.” I also like the words “Vitality” and “Achieve.” Another option would be Intense Training Bootcamp, and you could use “IT,” as in, Be IT, IT begins with you, etc. but the Intense may not be friendly enough and scare people.
I like Train Smart too!
Hi Carol..
