Your Best Body Challenge-Week 5

Hey Challengers!

It was yet another fabulous workout on a beautiful Saturday morning.    We have some footage from Vasona Park and hopefully will be able to get down to Gilroy in the next few weeks and get you on camera, too!

We’re heading into the end of February (can you believe it???), which means you are sitting right smack in the middle of this challenge.

12-weeks is aLLLLLOOOOOONNNNNNG

time, people.

Trudy wins the coveted "Wounded Warrior" for the day. She skinned her knee and took a little fall at the beginning of our training session. Like the trooper she is, she stuck finished the entire workout and kicked booty! Way to go Trudy!

Read this blog and commit to RE-COMMITING right now.

It’s the weekend.   Start thinking about the week ahead by planning your menus for the week.  Hit the grocery store (or even better, the farmers market!) and stock up on all the staples you’ll need to get through the week.  Buy enough fresh fruit and veggies to get you through at least Wednesday.

Look at your schedule.  Before it fills up, schedule your workout time in RIGHT NOW! Don’t delay.

Look…I get it.

I am a one-woman show running a growing business.  Since January, I’ve been working 7 days a week, and my days are mostly 12-15 hour days.  I really get it.  Any excuse you can give me, I can give right back to you. (if you want to follow my own personal adventure as I embark on this challenge…follow me here)

You get to a point when you finally get fed up with your excuses and figure out how to maneuver your busy life around to fit a little healthy eating and exercise in there.

What a beautiful day for a workout!

Here’s the truth:

Life’s going to get in the way.  This is not about aligning the planets in order to reach your goals.  I think the bigger lessons here is:  How do you pick it back up and keep going forward with your goals for exercise, your vision of clean and healthy eating, and your dream for living in a body that you love, AFTER messing it up for a day (or week) or two.

If you can learn that skill, you will for sure succeed.

Have a great week, challengers!

Dying, and loving every minute of it !!! Thanks to Audra and all her awesome trainers, beautiful Vasona and the dedicated Redshifters, it is actually fun !! I am sooo bummed that I have to miss next week because I will be visiting my parents, and the first Saturday in March, I’ll be seeing patients in my dental office, and have to sit all day. :-(
